This complete home remodel in San Marcos, California was anchored to the beautiful kitchen renovation featuring:
- Two new kitchen windows
- All new two-tone custom cabinets with uppers that reached the 10′ ceiling with 4-piece crown molding
- Custom solid wood range hood mounted on a countertop to ceiling subway tile backsplash laid out into a herringbone pattern.
- An island with a microwave drawer feature
- Extra wide 40” gas range
- Built in double oven
- A Farmhouse single basin, extra deep sink.
All flooring throughout the home was removed and replaced with luxury vinyl plank. The staircase was modified to remove the curved feature on the bottom two steps, converting the upstairs transition to a more modern, square look with featuring flush stair nosing. 3″ baseboards throughout the home were removed and replaced with a 5 1/4″ flat profile baseboard. Casings were removed and replaced to match. New paint throughout the home was required and new light fixtures were installed, including new recessed lighting in the family room. A custom media center was added to the family room along with a custom square pattern accent wall made from redwood and painted to match the new wall colors. The desk area under the stairs was completely revamped to a more modern and functional design. All door hardware was removed and replaced. Existing bathroom vanities were dismantled and painted to match the flow of the new home design. Lastly, the entire exterior was painted and the landscaping completely redone, including a new putting green BBQ station and fire pit.
